Terms of Service

By accessing or using Chronicles of the Cartographer (“the Game”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.

Chronicles of the Cartographer is a browser-based tile-placement strategy game. The Game is provided “as is” for entertainment purposes. Features may change or be removed at any time without notice.

You may sign in using Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Game, or the minimum age required by your jurisdiction for online services.

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to submit scores or manipulate the leaderboard
• Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts or data
• Use the Game for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or impersonate other users

Violation of these terms may result in account suspension or permanent ban.

Scores submitted to the leaderboard must be achieved through legitimate gameplay. We reserve the right to remove any score that appears to be obtained through cheating, exploitation of bugs, or automated means.

The Game, including its code, graphics, design, and name “Chronicles of the Cartographer”, is the intellectual property of its creator. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

Maps you create within the Game may be exported as PNG images for personal use and sharing on social media, provided you do not claim them as your own original artwork separate from the Game.

The Game is provided without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Game, including but not limited to loss of game progress, data, or scores.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Game at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the Game at any time. To request deletion of your account and data, contact us.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Italy.
